The girls go to 'Afterschool' twice a week so they can get in some extra play time with their friends. On Mondays they have clubs to chose from which change in topic every six weeks or so. Isadora recently started in "Fashion Club". Shortly thereafter as she was coloring her Fashion Club Paper Dolls we had a conversation that went something like this,

"Mommy, what color do you think would be most fashionable *spoken with a flip of the hair* for this doll's hair?"

"Well Isadora, I don't really know a lot about fashion."

"Didn't you have fashion in school?!?"

"No honey, we didn't"

"Well you need to go back to school then Mommy."


Yesterday when I picked her up she was clutching a series of drawings, this was one. She told me it was of a lady from "1000 years ago!" This is Isadora speak for "the past too far beyond my ability to comprehend". She's wearing a corset and frowning because it really really hurts.
