I posted about Isadora's results last week or maybe the week before. They've decided she has a mild reading learning disability but that her primary problem seems to be the way she handles stress which is not well. It's causing her to have trouble focusing in class I suppose. They are going to get her some more help with reading and some in school therapy and we're going to look into more outside of school. Her math scores on the psychoeducational evaluation came back perfectly average so that was good.
Haha, as I was writing the reply I suddenly remembered I have a meeting this afternoon with the special ed person at the school to solidify what exactly Issy will be getting but I'd completely forgotten about it until I went to write you back. SO thanks. ;)
I'm really not sure how what she is going to be getting now differs from what she was getting apart from how it effects her standardized testing and the girls support group she'll be starting but I guess those are things I can ask today.
That is such an awesome photo and a delicious smile! I can't believe how toddler-like he looks, too. How many teeth does he have these days? Looks like at least 4-6.
Isn't it amazing how quickly they are growing up?! He has (I think!) four teeth top center, two on the bottom and recently added two sets of molars on each side.
