I'm feeling jittery today... not sure why. Maybe I need sugar... yup that must be it.
I've been thinking lately about going to college. It really isn't something I can do anytime soon but I can start working towards that. I've always wanted to be an archaeologist... ever since I was a child it was always that or a coreographer. I don't know how well I would do in school though. It's been so long. I was awful at math when I was taking it and I don't remember a damn thing from algebra aside from the fact that I hated hated hated it. Why on earth do they make everyone take that crap. Grrr arg. I am sure there is a good reason but still! I suppose I ought to find a college that has a good program for old folks going to college again or for the first time at least till I get the boring stuff over with. So in the years between now and when my girls are old enough for me to go I can be readying myself and looking for where I want to go.

I don't know what Ga. State has in the way of an archaeology program, but it would be a good place to start out. They have a very high percentage of commuter students. Don't know how close this is to you, but there may be some barnc of UG or Ga St. or community colleges near you that would provide what you need in introductory courses that can be taken prior to going to a larger Univ. having what you want. Just be sure any school credits that you earn are transferrable to the school you end up at later.
