At her recommendation we went to an eatery called Eats. It was yummy and cheap. I had the spinach tortellini in alfredo sauce, next time I will have to have chicken and veggies. Afterwards we came back to this side of town and went to see Moulin Rouge. Well... I saw the first 2/3 or so before Isadora decided she wanted to start her own commentary track and I had to take her out. I loved what I saw though. The tango scene done to Roxanne was incredible. Tomorrow I am going by myself to see the whole thing. The only bad thing about that is perhaps having to sit through that freaking trailer for Captain Corelli's Mandolin again which may actually induce vomiting this time. While I am a Nick Cage fan I think I would rather watch First Knight again than see this movie. On the plus side there was a good Planet of the Apes trailer.
After the movie we stop by the grocery store to pick up junk food for a nice evening of dvd and tv viewing. Unfortunately my mom calls around 10:30 to tell me that Rhiannon has been saying "dada" for hours and we ended up having to drive all the way up to her house in Gwinnet to pick her up. Oh well. Part of the joys of parenting. I can remember making my mom come get me from my granny's because I thought I heard snakes in the grass outside the window. Of course my granny only lived a few minutes down the road not 45 damn minutes away.
Greg and Tomas are in the living room babbling about geek thing. Greg left the tv on The Governess which is playing on the Independent Film Channel. I love Minnie Driver's clothes in this. I wonder what the fabric they are made of is.
I'm feeling rather babble-y myself... time to stop typing now. :)

Found your journal through random and felt the need to comment. I too saw Moulin Rouge today and saw the same trailers. I have never before even heard about Captain Corelli's Mandolin (thank god for little miracles) and was like "Ohhh, Nick Cage. Me like" ....then he opened his mouth. Egads. Classic case of when bad accents happen to good actors.

The first time I saw it I was willing to look past the bad accent because I do really like Nick Cage. By the 20th time I was just wishing the movie would hurry up and come out and die already.
