danuvI need to find some manga/anime suggestions for a 10 year old girl. Rhiannon has gotten really into watching something called Lucky Star in bits on youtube and draws anime characters on every scrap of paper she can get her hands on. At least Christmas buying for her should be easy-ish this year.
We had her parent teacher conf this morning. She said she's a very mature writer and is reading on a 7th grade level (she's in 5th). Pretty much more or less what we've heard at most of her conferences. Struggling a little in math, shy and quiet but starting to open up, has a wicked dry/sarcastic sense of humor.
