Girl in my guild tonight said she wanted to listen to some angsty music, "Oh" says I, "you should listen to some Smiths" "I dunno, last time I listened to something someone said I got rick-rolled." "..." says I, "You don't know who the Smiths are?!" "I've been out of the country for a few years." "... it's older than that." "Oh, I didn't listen to much rock music in the '90s." *head desk*

Later Tomas played a little for her and explained this song was from the early 80's. "Oh.." she says, "I was born in '91".

Haha. That's like my recent story. I was training a new girl at work and just giving her a little history of how long I had been doing the job. I told her I'd been with the company 10 years. She pipes up with "I was still in high school back then".
