Quiet today. Quiet is good. Starting mid Dec we went through lice, strep with puking, broken washer, broken drier, broken toilet and the Holidays. Now we're back to our normal quiet state of just being broke. Eventually Tomas will get the W2 from his new job and we'll be moving but for now, quiet. Is good.

This morning I'm watching a documentary about a parking lot. Yup. I love documentaries that much. I started watching it last night but ended up reading about Civil War prostitution instead. There were more arrests of cross dressing women than you might imagine.

The little Emperor is sitting quietly having his breakfast and watching Mickey Mouse so now is probably a good time to breath and focus for a bit. I don't get a lot of space to just surround myself with quiet and stillness so I should take it where I can.

The cross dressing women were in a book called Sexual Misbehavior in the Civil War that I'm reading. I wish it could have gone into more detail about it but they're working off court martial records and newspaper reports. Where's a Tardis when you need one?!
