Tomas doesn't have to work today. In honor of this rare event we are going to leave the kids with my mother in law, go get yummy food, and then go see The Others. Of course this means spending money we don't have on something we shouldn't but what else is new.

I found out last night that the b-sides for the first Tori single are going to be a David Bowie cover and an Alice Cooper cover. There are so many cds I want that I just can't get. I still haven't bought the new Sam Phillips and I want some Poe and *sigh* about a zillion other things. I should start digging through the house collecting the cds I want to take to the beach with me. Since I basically only listen to mp3's now I don't keep up with the cds as well as I ought.

So scars seem to be the topic of the day. Let me see....

I have a small round one on the inside of my right wrist from a brief job working for Chick-Fil-A. I was the designated lemon juicer and got an infected blister. Thrilling.

One on my chin right below my bottom lip where I fell out of a high chair when I was a baby. It's shaped just like someone put a staple in right there.

Another roundish one where my brother pushed me as I was running on a diving board and I skid across it on my knee and leg. It was a nasty nasty wound. I think I was around 12.

I suspect that my recent nail/leg injury will leave a large mark on my right leg but it hasn't finished healing yet so I can't really tell.
