Wow. Once and Again just had a positive home birth. No emergency trip to the hospital, no dead mom, no dead baby... completely natural... pain and all. Various characters even kept saying that home birth was statistically just as safe as hospital birth (actually I think that it is statistically safer to have a planned home birth than to have a hospital birth). Impressive.

My father decided earlier this week that he would take Rhiannon out today. Last night I realized he had asked me if 8:30 was ok... 8:30 am. Who in their right mind gets up at 8:30 am on a Saturday morning. Tomas doesn't even get off of work till 2 am and usually doesn't make it home till 3 am and we typically get into bed sometime around 4 am. I had the brilliant idea, 'Hey! Why don't we just stay up all night!'. So we did. Isadora even stayed up with us until around 8 am when I changed her into her pjs. That was it for her... she fell asleep on the floor in the living room while we were getting Rhiannon out of bed. She is still asleep in her crib. I think we are too old for all nighters now.
At some point last night we made the astonishing discovery that Tomas is a virtual compendium of bad tv theme songs. It all started with Gummie Bears... he knew every word. Then it moved on to shows like Growing Pains and Different Strokes. It isn't just that he knows the tunes... he knows all the words.
