The Thong.

Now that I am slimming up just a touch and attempting to 'womanize' my life just a bit, I've decided I need to give the darling garment known as the thong another go. I've been putting some thought into this today while trying to ignore the bit of fabric shoved up my arse. Who came up with the thong and why do so many women love them? They aren't comfortable. Is this just me? Does my body somehow make them more uncomfortable to me than they are to other people? They're cute and sexy I -suppose- but so are many other less perturbing styles of underwear. Tomas is a big fan of 'boy shorts' on me. I have to agree with him. I feel pretty cute wearing that particular style.

So apart from being uncomfortable, thongs don't seem to really function as much of anything other than well to make me uncomfortable. They don't cover anything. Sure, they don't show out of all these new 'low cut' jeans or if they do they aren't as ugly as your average panty... but wait a minute... I -hate- low cut jeans. What's the freaking point of them and why are they almost all you can find anymore?! Perhaps these are just all aspects of 'womanhood' that I need to get used to... non-functioning uncomfortable undies and jeans that always feel like they are just about to either fall off you or show your arse to the world. Maybe once I get used to them I'll feel sexier and then they'll have more of a point.

Since you are considering fashion trends...perhaps you will let us, part of your adoring public, help you decide which trends you should take up. If so, I suggest that you post pictures of how you look in each outfit and let us choose.

As for thongs, I don't see the point in them either, but I figure if I have to wear undies (ok.. 'have' is a strong word, as I usually don't bother and have yet to see anything bad come of it), the one that is least there is the best one to choose. That said, those little boyshort things are *adorable* and I need more of them.

Heh, well I spent quite a few years wearing lovely pink satin shoes that tore my feet to bits so... ;)

I'll probably give them a little more time and see if they stop bothering me otherwise I think I'll just invest in more boy shorts.

I have about 10 pairs of thongs, which I tried to get used to.

The most use I get out of them these days is as a makeshift slingshot when the dogs are bad.

Hrm, well tarnations. :) I have no dogs. Maybe I could fling them at the kids. But then they'd probably require counseling when they grow up because of it. Ah hell, I'm sure they'll come up with something regardless of whether I slingshot thongs at them or not. Maybe if you had enough you could knit them into some kind of hammock.
